Indushan Senavirathna is an accomplished individual with a background in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He holds a B.Sc. Engineering (Hons) degree from the University of Jaffna. His research interests include Embedded System Design, Robotics, Aerial Robotics, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. Indushan has gained valuable experience as a Design Engineer, specializing in electronic design, manufacturing, firmware development, software development, and front-end development. Indushan has a successful track record of participating in projects and competitions, including leading a championship-winning team in a national-level competition organized by the Institution of Engineers in Sri Lanka. He has actively participated in robotics and drone competitions, achieving recognition and expertise in these fields. Indushan has also demonstrated his skills in chess competitions, securing top placements.
Indushan has made significant contributions to the field of robotics at the University of Jaffna, where he founded the IEEE Robotic and Automation Society. He has organized workshops, technical events, and introduced robotics programs in local schools to inspire and educate students. He has actively served in leadership roles within IEEE, including as a member of the Students Committee for IEEE PES YP and a representative in the global Student Young Professional Transition working group. Indushan has also served as a university and student ambassador for IEEE chapters.

“Mr. Indushan was stationed at Amithi Power Consultants (Pvt) Ltd as an (Undergraduate) Intern for 6 months period. He was directly supervised by Internship Program Coordinating Engineer, whereas I was overseeing the entire program and observing development of interns.
