IEEE Robotics and Automation Society University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka
- Initiated the IEEE Robotic and Automation Society in University of Jaffna
- Started the webinar series “Path to Robotics with IEEE RAS” - Sharing the knowledge related to robotics and their different applications with undergraduate students
- Started the first flagship event of “Robotics to School” program - Sharing the robotics and Arduino knowledge and experience with school students
- The emphasis was on making IEEE RAS Student activities more visible to the undergraduates and general public, providing volunteers with resources to organize their work and cut down on tedious tasks, and launching new projects that would benefit IEEE RAS Student members.

IEEE PES Young Professionals, Young Professional Transition working group, Global Level
- First-ever global level representation as the only Sri Lankan in the committee.
- Supported to enhance the Student-YP relation and also bring about surveys for better initiatives in upcoming years.
- Team envisioned introducing students to the opportunities and benefits of IEEE YP membership.
- Conducted needful surveys with fresh graduates and discuss with PES Sri Lanka section committee members. Discussed problems face by the fresh graduates and reasons for why most students are not getting the PES membership after graduation. Could convey and discuss those problems with PES YP to find out the solutions.
- Also equiped students with the tools and techniques that will help them in their transition to becoming successful and driven professionals.

IESL Junior Inventor of the Year, Undergraduate Subcommittee
- Promoted creativity and ingenuity among school children in the age group 12 to 19 years from schools all over Sri Lanka participate
- Awareness creation sessions conducted by the IESL precede the competitions. Those selected at the preliminary competitions get to participate in the final competition held in August

IEEE PES Day - 2021
- Organized a technical webinar in collaboration with IEEE PES SBC UOJ related to “Clean energy”. With presence of guest speakers Prof (Eng.) A. Athputharagah (Dean, Faculty of Engineering University of Jaffna) and Mr. U. Anuraj (Lecturer in faculty of Engineering University of Jaffna)
- Guest talk mainly focused on the topic of green energy. To give some special massage to the people about what is green energy, what are green energy and its benefits, how does green energy work, why green energy is important, what are the benefits of green technology etc.

- Coordinated the Robotic Lab for the biggest annual engineering exbition in Faculty of Engineering, University of Jaffna.
- Examined the exhibits and discussed needful further developments with the Robotic Lab Supervisor Eng. S. Sangar
